Welcome to the Meridian ISE Field Operations Benchmarking Scorecard.
This
is a scorecard specifically designed for companies to benchmark their in-house
or 3rd party field operations (sales, field marketing, merchandising) against
best practice among other leading consumer goods companies.
It is aimed at
FMCG/CPG companies who have field sales and/or field marketing teams;

calling on their major accounts at outlet level i.e. the
field effort (whether sales or merchandising) is a secondary sales driver supporting
account manager contact at head office level.

calling on independent
customers of wholesale or cash & carry accounts i.e.
the field effort supports the account management team by managing consumer sales drivers
in the channel.
The accounts concerned
will in many cases be the major multiple grocers but the tool is
equally relevant for other food and non-food channels (e.g. wholesale/C&C,
DIY, electrical, entertainment, toys etc). It
is also equally relevant for suppliers who have their own in-house operation and
for those who use a 3rd party provider.
