"Meridian joined ntl approximately
18 months ago with a brief to integrate the different regional
'Ways of Working' into one recognisable process, incorporating
best practice at every level.
Within this brief there was an instruction to develop a common
language for Sales, to bring visibility and accountability to
the Sales operation and to improve the frequency, accuracy and
detail of Sales Management information.
In close consultation with senior management
and by talking to all levels within ntl, Meridian developed the
Return On Sales Capital Expenditure (ROSCE) Tool. Following the
development of this tool, the outputs from ROSCE were subsequently
interrogated by Meridian specialists and their analysis assisted
ntl's Senior Team in restructuring our business sales resource.
This sales tool is now part of our regular report set and serves
to ensure that we are managing our sales resource as effectively
as possible, something that was not possible in the past.
Throughout their contract the Meridian
Development Team proved to be distinctively pro-active, making
things happen at every stage. Their effectiveness in adding value
to the original brief demonstrated that they are indeed experts
